Well this is how i got the Sj not my first but not letting my dad talk me into selling this one
might find some pics of my older Sj and maybe the series 2a landrover i had believe it or not i'm only 17.

the work begins started taking off some massive mudflaps off that came with the Sj :yuk:

Then got these lot round to sand it down with me and painting it the whole idea was to paint the car matt black then paint the rollcage gloss black well that idea changed when this happen :hahaha:

Woke up the next morning to find this :pissed:

So in the man cave (dads garage) i found some old layland oxford blue paint re sanded the bonnet well the half of it anyway and did this

My Sj under the snow Image

Think the next plan is
.SPOA conversion
. Suzuki grand vitara steel rims as someones cut the center out of landrover wheels and welded and drilled a plate in so they will fit
.finish the pant as the other sides still white
.fix my winch
.and new stater motor
forgot to add it does start and drive and its also a 1.6 8v injection (g16a)

i know this is a Suzuki forum but i'm posting pics of my dad landrover as i worked hard on that with my dad

My dads landrover is a 300tdi with disco 2 front lights rear lights and custom made disco bumper to fit the disco 1 chassis
it also has a 3.5" lift
33" tires
mach 5 rims
but hay this is about my sj so i'm going to stop talking about my dads landrover and leave you
more updates to come! :rockin:

:welcome:

I had mine matte black for a while. Didnt really look that great or last that long anyway. Seemed to attract grease then the sun fried the paint in the summer.

The matte black would have been nice but I really like the blue that I started painting it in :D

Nice to know :doublethumbs: glad it's got an external cage even if its made out of scaffold pole it should hold might take the hardtop off and have it as a pick up or turn it into a tray back
