I just went to undo these caliper bolts and found that they were 5 sided! Not seen that before...
Anyone know where I can get a tool for undoing these things?

5 sided Allen key head now that's interesting? F knows where you get one of those, that bolt looks pretty fucked too

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. They're on the new Samurai axles I picked up. I'm going to swap over my original calipers but had thought about using these to do a rear disc conversion. Unfortunately they require a bit of a rebuild but without some kind of magical 5 sided hex socket thing, I'm not sure I'm going to get very far!
So this isn't a common fitting then?

I don't recognise that bolt as any part of any caliper i've worked on.
Whats it off?

Get some mole grips on it and replace it with new bolts

Do they just hold the caliper together.
Can the pads be changed by undoing the other bolts.

Either mole grips or hammer a screwdriver in (if its not tight you can undo it using a shifter on the screwdriver flats) or weld a bolt to it that you can get a socket on

Local motor factors? Was in mine today and he had a row of sockets for allen bolts.
