how much is a new windscreen for my sj

has anybody bought a new windscreen recently like last year

Whats up with the current one?

I had a long scratch from the wiper and a fair sized chip
In the centre of the drivers point of view. An mot fail.
So I just flipped the screen round NNow it's on inside on the
Passenger side and I don't notice it.

Mine is fine I was just sorting the insurance out incase something happens as the insurance company I.have gone for doesn't cover my windscreen

I got a quote for £74.50 few months ago, same as my 106 that's installed & they come to you.

Chears dude just wanted a rough price incase something did happen

When my mate smashed the windscreen in his sportrak
The insurance company said his vehicle was over 5 years old so the cover was void, they did the same when he broke down
So check the small print
I take all the covers off as it bumps the premium down a tad

Ye as the insurance I have doesn't cover windscreen cover as it was 210 quid cheaper than the other insurance company

its be surprising who makes/has new windscreens! best thing is with autoglass is if there repairing your windscreen chip with there "special glue" what falls out with a jet wash is that if they smash your windscreen on there van they dont carry a spare one!!

Sj screens are easy enough to pick up second hand as well (as long as you don't break the one you buy fitting it )

I've had the same screen in mine for as long as I've owned the SJ
karis's was bought with a chipped screen, then I replaced it and broke the new one and then 2 days after fitting the 3rd screen it got chipped by a gritting lorry

Oh and this should be in the bodywork and trim section not the bar
