Hello from Italy
Hello from Italy
hi all
First would like to say thanks for all the info that is on the site, have spent the last few months going through finding loads of info.
have just got my first SJ. It is a 1986 SJ410 tin top. I'm English but live in Italy, a few months ago maybe you saw on ebay a blue 1986 tin top for sale on Uk plates but here in Italy, well I bought it. Picked it up last week, changed the engine oil and a good check over and drove it home 200 miles at 50 mph.
Have now started to service it and have many Q's .
If and when I manage to attach pics you will see the bodywork is in amazing condition for 27 yrs.
Have failed to insert pics, so my first of many Q's is how do I attach pics from my pc.
Here in Italy SJs are still very popular and you would be amazed at the prices of secondhand SJs.
Minimum price for a tatty one is euros 2000 , prices go up to Euros 9000 for well prepared examples.
Steve

Welcome to SCUK bud.
You can find pretty much anything you need on here. If you can't find it someone will know where you can.
For pics i just use the "add attachment" at the bottom of the post reply screen.

Welcome to the site, what a lovely SJ you have. I like everything about it, the colour, the original wheels & the decals (especially the bonnet ones! You dont see many of those) what the mileage? How long has it lived in Italy? Id guess over 90% of its life due to its good condition
