I may need a new diff...

now im no expert but in my experience when something starts banging about its never good.
so I found a lot of play in my rear diff, not only that but the extra play in the rear prop has rattled the u.j's half to death. took off the rear prop and found the nut that goes on the flange, where the rear prop bolts to the diff ( sorry not overly educated is suzuki drivetrain), was only finger tight!
ive tightened it up for now but I very much doubt it'll be to the correct torque setting, as I didn't have the info at the time.
the noise has stopped and the slack in the diff has lessened although I will still need to replace a couple of u.j's sooner rather than later.
what is gonna be my best option regarding the diff? wait and see how it pans out or whack another in there
I'll be replacing the oil soon as its getting on the murky side.
cheers
steve
