Fastback Soft top

Post by HuwJones » Sun Jun 23, 2013 10:10 pm

I'm looking for a fastback soft top for my SJ. I went for a drive to pick up some take away and ended up with a soaked arse :/
I'm not too keen on the looks of the 'propper' square soft tops, i think the fast back looks cooler :D
So, does anyone know where i could get one?

I was chatting with a few guys at work today and them recon I should just change the body. How difficult is it to swap them over? From having a look underneath and under the bonnet, I don't think it would be that difficult.
On another note.... does anyone have a tin top shell in reasonable condition in the 'spares box’?? I'd prefer to buy just the shell, as I won't be able to afford the entire car + no space for it.

I'm still keeping an eye out for a hard top Liam.

Thanks

Huw

Its just six body mount bolts i think, undo the front clip, steering column, pedals, brake pipes, remove gear levers, undo all wires clipped to it. Unbolt everything from the bulkead.

Depends if you can get a body from the same series 410/413/samurai. May require dash / dials changing.

Hardest part will be finding a body worth putting on.
