Hey all well this is my first build thread for my Suzuki samurai 413vsb commercial, she is a 1991 h-reg. There won't be any major changes to her she needs a few parts of rust sorting mainly around the windscreen and the rear arches are starting to rust but apart from that she is in good nick. She needs some tidying up inside nothing major, I am going to replace the front seats as the drivers is pretty knackered, the previous owner removed the stickers from both sides of the truck but didn't do a very good job so that's first on the list. The engine runs without fault and it still has the original carb on it which I know are crap but while it is running well I might as well leave it alone. I also want to get some news tyres for her I want something that's good on the road but can handle a bit of green laneing and off road sites, I have heard that kumho kl71 are good for this, anyway here are some pictures I will take a lot more and go into detail a bit further tomorrow when I go to work, cheers Palmer

This stuff is supposed to be good, but I've not used it so can't say.
Available at most motorist shops so may be worth a shot before ordering the big stuff.

Some more pics of her now, this afternoon at work found myself a bottle of thinners so thought i would have a go at removing the marks left from the stickers. It made a pretty good job of it and looks a lot better now. I thought i would make a start on cleaning the inside a bit, just made a start removing the rear bench and seat belts. It has a sort of plastic flooring which i am going to remove to check for rust and give it a good clean out. What would be the best way to deal with the rust below the windscreen? There is also a small red light just to the left of the steering wheel what is this?, is does not light up or anything.

The light could be for a lot or reasons, it's an after market addition so maybe an old alarm or some such. Have a look and see where the wires go (if there are any!)
