I seem to be going a bit thread crazy at the moment..
but I need to know what the screw do, I know the one that has the collar on it to stop you from tampering with it is the fuel mixture right? so which way do I turn it to lower the amount of fuel going in? as my zuk is running a bit rich, I'm planning on fitting the new 410 carb an electronic ignition and new points today so I can get it runnin better and hopefully improve the fuel consumption a bit..
I'm sure I once seen a picture showing what each of the screws do somewhere but can't find it for the life of me..

Re: SJ410 carb, how do I tune it?
make sure the engine is warmed up
choke off
all accessories off
timing correct
air filter and hoses installed properly
1. Adjust idle speed to 880rpm with the idle SPEED adjusting screw (its the slot head one, with a spring on the shaft).
2. turn the idle MIXTURE screw right or left and set it where the HIGHEST idle speed is obtained (its the funny looking screw thing)
3.run at fast idle for 30 seconds
4.repeat step 1 to 3! and adjust to 880rpm using the idle SPEED screw.
5.repeat steps 1 to 3 again.
6..Now adjust the speed by turning the idle MIXTURE screw slowly to the right (close) to 840-850 rpm. ...you're done
