With some improvement that would work. Well cool.

The problem is that now the 3D printing process is probably going to become heavily regulated and thus very expensive, which is a shame because it has so many other applications that'll get smothered.

Fucking rednecks throwing the word 'freedom' around like it means something.

Well apparently you need a very expensive printer to come even close to that...
I think the printer they used is an industrial one that cost $8000 2nd hand!

I think the days where someone can print off proper guns at home are still quite a way off...

I think the real question here lads is can we print off suzuki parts?

You could probably print off vitara front diffs and they might be stronger than the genuine (non-steel) ones!!!

We used the one at Uni to make a few parts for the Formula Student car. Throttle body adapters, inlet runners and plenum trumpets. We used some 70 degree resin but we weren't sure if it'd cope so the prof. in charge of the printer contacted his supplier and apparently he could get resin that'll cope with up to 110 degrees. Turns out that the 70 degree stuff coped alright because it wasn't actually touching the block and it was sucking cold air through the 3D printed stuff.

That manifold looks SICK! I'm guessing it's for Weber Twin 40s. I bet you could get some surprising power out of an F10A with a pair of twin 40s and a high flow exhaust system. It'd go through big end bearings like my Granddad through humbugs.

Yeah it does look pretty cool, I wonder what kind of plastic it's made of? My inlet manifold gets reasonably warm!
