Welcome to SCUK.

Pretty much any info you need can be found here bud. Looks like a capable truck. Whats the spec?

Independant suspension is a big task. Never heard of it being done yet as you would need a doner vehicle with independant suspension to use.

:welcome: to :suzuki: club UK matey

Are you still thinking about coming to wagtail? Would be a good opportunity to see how our SJs are all set up and what they can do as well as finding out what yours can do

I must ask why do you want to build a full Indy set up? It's not going to be an easy job with an SJ, would have be easier to start with a vitara chassis but the IFS on those is quite weak.

I would personally stick with solid axles when it comes to an off roader.

to be honest I don't know about indi set up maybe because I Had a defender previously. I haven't really done much off roaming in it yet so don't no how they are off road. and yes would like to go wagtail. can I come for a day rather than the whole weekend. I like the look of your anus. looks very tidy

Do you mean a coil set up i.e. like a landrover's suspension or Indy like the front of vitaras and new hilix's etc? if you can fabricate its not too bad a job to convert to coils but its best done with an Offroad only SJ as VOSA are always trying to tighten up restrictions when it comes to those sort of modifications.

Yeah you're more than welcome to just come along for a day, not sure how much just a day of you want?

Cheers, its a fun little SJ, there's not much I would do differently if I was going to build another one
