New clutch on 2006 Swift

I hope I am posting in the right place but my clutch is slipping and is obvious needs replacing. Its a standard 1.3 2006 petrol and I've been quoted between £390 at Mr Clutch up to £600 at others. Anyone have an idea on how much it should cost me or PM me a recommendation of someone who isn't going to take me for a ride in South East London or Kent.
Not mentioning names but the lowest price can sometimes end up a lot higher with other "essential" work I found from places with the biggest marketing budgets.
Thanks in advance for your help

If you want a cheap clutch, you could maybe try Motorhog. It won't be new but it's something maybe.

That seems expensive.
I recently bought a Jimny clutch for £65 and fitted it myself.
If paying garage rates as an example a mate has just changed a gearbox for my son on his Isuzu Trooper for £200 INCLUDING the gearbox!!
It should only be a mornings work at the very tops.

They're actually a separate company owned by Halfords. A bit like Mini is to BMW

Thanks very much for the input. I was worried about the nationals being the same pirates as the uPVC window fitters when compared to local builders. Kwik Fit failed me 2 years ago on 4 points (5 if you include the tyre that lasted another 12 months) that my local MOT Testing Centre at Deptford has passed now 2 years in a row even after I told them what Kwik Fit flagged up. Lucky a cheap Chinese OBD reader off eBay also allowed me to work out that only a single £60 something Bosche oxygen sensor was required and not the two they were planning to charge me just under £300 to pass the emissions test. They should include one of these readers in every glovebox sold new at the dealer.
