Some of the older SIP welders had wire feed issues, not sure if the newer ones are the same.

Can't really go wrong with Clarke or Cebora

I was looking at some Clarke ones, but heard some of their tools can be a bit inferior apposed to other makes. Are there any Clarke ones in particular that are better ? I don't want anything professional just one that I can weld bodywork and maybe slightly thicker metal if I decide to fab my own bumpers ect... in the future. Thanks.

I had an old sip and the pipe, gas feed, wire feed tube, whatever its called from machine to the trigger got damaged and cost more than a new machine. Got Clarke now, quality machine
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good
