this is the latest addidtion to the fleet.
1971 beetle 1200,it now runs drives and stop suprisingly well
needs new floor pans and a lot of tidying up but for a beetle isnt bad at all.

was £300
but that came with a set of period accurate original seats that cost the previous owner £300 on their own
he didnt want to sell it but his wife made him so i jumped at the opportunity.
i had it running within the day and after fitting a throttle cable ive had it driving and it all works surprisingly well

all it needs is floor pans and heater channels replacing and it will be practically done(apart from the birds nest wiring thats in it )

What was the reg? My mate used to have a purple beetle with something like that fitted? Didn't selling to a guy called Elvis did you (he's actually called mark )
