I'm pretty sure that's the same as one I pulled off a set of Samurai axles. Does it have funny 5-side cap screws holding it together?

I think from memory that it is a Girling caliper.

What do you mean about the side caps? There's 2 large Allen key bolts that bolt both halves of the calliper together.

But there are no sliding parts as there are on aisin callipers.

Yeah, those are the ones.

They look like normal allen key bolts but the ones in the calipers I had only had 5 rather than the standard 6 sides!

Ah right that's strange. No these are 6 sided 10mm Allen keys.

OK cool, well you shouldn't need to undo them anyway. I had originally planned to split mine just to do a full refurb on them but ended up binning them as they were corroded and falling apart around the lip for the piston boot.

Anyway, bottom line is, I think it is a Girling caliper.

I also just looked closely at the second of the two pics and if you look, you can just about make out the top half of the word "Girling" where the red paint has been brushed away.

Yes I brushed it away and can sort of see "ing" but wasn't sure. Iv never seen this calliper before only had the aisin ones.

Thanks anyway :)
