More problems , to HIGH ?

Had my engine in sittin on the mounts what i thort was it and ready for welding , so to nyt i put my bonnet on just to see if it was ok and it wasnt , thers a inch to take off the strengther that goes across the inside of bonnet but still no where near closing , what to do

Or get a Rockwatt manifold and an SU HIF44 carburettor.

That is quite a gap. A samurai bonnet will give you a bit more room but probably still not enough. Can you modify the air intake so it doesnt go accross the top of the engine?

Or a body lift would probably sort it.

Have you got pictures of how you have the mounts set up?

anoo it is a big gap a Sammy bonnet will not fill that lol a was thinking of a scoop but wanted to see if it could sit any lower , yer jordi giz a tick n al put them o,,n thanks

Drivers side needs the spreader plate removing and the box bit drilling so the rubber mount bolts direct to it.

That'll drop it a bit.
