Can a vit lump that was spi just have the injection removed and
A carb bolted on?
Or is the carb vit manifolds different?
Any other different bit from a carb to inj engine? Any other issues when
Fitting in a sj?
Cheers dude's

Need a electric pump but yes the manifolds are the same.

Im running my spi on a rw 1.3 manifold with su.
The spi manifolds are slightly different. Have water channels i think. As RW said they were a pain to mod. Hence my 1.3manifold.
Fitted a low pressure facet fuel pump.

The manifolds are different, I'm pretty sure that you can't bolt a carb to an SPI manifold, in any case you would need to rework the inlet as the SPI has a round intake which won't suit the carb.

You might not be able to bolt a carb to an SPI manifold, but you can bolt a carb manifold to a SPI head with carb fitted. Then you just need a low pressure fuel pump.
We had to do this as my son bought an SPI engine in error when he wanted a carb one, but it all ended up working fine.
