finally figured it out after all this time!!

Post by suzukisteve » Mon Nov 04, 2013 10:53 pm

there has been an issue with both the zukes ive owned thats bugged me from day one. when getting up to speed ( I use the term speed roughly ) I get a constant splatter of muddy water hitting the dash and bonnet. at first I thought I had a muddy patch that I couldn't see somewhere, but even after a proper clean it still happened. so after my drive home from a mates where the mud splatter was worse than ever I thought id better have a look.

so I tasted the water, ( I know, I know, gross right? ) but it didn't have the bitter taste of anti freeze. so what the hell could it be? and where could it be coming from?

THE BLOODY BULL BAR HAS A SMALL DRAIIN HOLE AT THE TOP!?!!!! :argh:

After all that time and I missed it!

I expect thats a vent/expansion hole that was put there for the welding process.

not quite as good as cable ties though!
i got my old bullbar for free and it was crap when I got it so I think I must have covered the hole when i slathered hammerite all over it!!!
