Hello, I've just acquired a '96 413, for off road use. And I'm puzzled. The distributor does not have vacuum advance on it. I can't find any reference to this in any manuals etc. Can any one tell me what I've got? And where I can get some info'.
number on dizzy is 7180,
Thanks, Barney.

1996?

To be honest I wasn't aware there were any registered in 96. If so it will probably be a fuel injection engine

Does it look like this (rounded airbox piping):

or this (square airbox piping)?

Yes it's N reg 1996 ( stickered up as a KAP suzuki), it has the square, plastic, airbox and it's single point injection, and has a square coil.

Ahh ok thats why there is no vac advance then...
pretty sure the ignition timing is controlled by the ECU.
Can't say 100% though as I don't actually own an injection system

Also, sorry about the reg confusion... most of the N reg ones were registered in 1995 as that is the year they stopped making them over here as far as I know...

N is from August 1995 to July 1996
