Clutch Replacement

Guys,

Looking at a nice Samurai at the end of the week, which as far as I'm aware needs a new clutch, it's a 1.3 D Reg, and I'm thinking that it shouldn't be too bad of a job to replace? Is it an engine out job, or am I able to just shift the gearbox over to replace?

Or, if anyone has a guide, would be much appreciated!

Jack the front end up or put it on some ramps to give you some more space.

Then remove intermediate prop from between the gearbox and tbox.

Then remove gearbox from underneath, sometimes it helps to get some one to tilt the engine forwards during removal for a bit of extra space.

Should be able to do it in around and hour and a half 2 hours.

I've done so many it takes me about an hour nowadays.
