Clutch adjustment

Hiya guys quick question how would you adjust the clutch on a sj410? Got the cable of by undoing this one nut which was on a long thread to adjust it with a new clutch do I just wind up more?

Yep, that's it.
Leave about 3mm of slack in it though, don't nip it up.

Do you mean slack of the cable it slack of where the cables sits on

According to the manual it says 2-3mm of free movement on the pedal, where you press with your foot. But to save getting up and down, I tend to just make sure there is a little clearance between the operating arm and the round bit that fits into it. It's just to make sure the release bearing isn't riding on the cover plate.

Ahh okay thanks because the nut was wound right to the very end with a new clutch in it could this be why it's not going into gear when the truck is turned on
