My GV 2.5V6

Post by CFB » Mon Jan 20, 2014 8:36 pm

First mod to the GV, decent tyres, gone from the stock rubber to some 235/70/16 Insa Dakar muds, already looks much more purposeful 8-)

Before..........

After .........

Next is a 1.5" B4V lift and remove the naff coach-lines, then clean up and re-paint the rusty rims.

Wow, makes a hell of a difference doesn't it!
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Looking forward to the lift going on, hopefully will have a similar effect! Needs it as the tyres foul the rear arches when it articulates.

I'm really happy with it so far, not only do the tyres look great but performance off road was way better than I was expecting. It's in the garage now getting a 1.5" bits4vits lift kit fitted so more pics to follow once it's done.
