So this is my 2nd 1300 sj
got a twin choke webber onit last was fuel injection and not very quik
but i didnt think the webber would make as much differnce as it has
will do 55mph in 3rd
if anyone is considerin running a webber i would recomemd it

webbers are good... although mine will do 55mph i 3rd easily
but unless you mod them a bit they flood and conk out up steep hills!

Take it from someone who got stuck really high up on a hill too steep to turn around on with no engine and thus no brakes!!!!

you still have brakes with no servo, it's just the pedal is as stiff as it would be without the servo. i.e. just a master cylinder

yeah but when you are reversing down a 45*+ slope that takes half an hour to get down its very hard work!

i run a weber on my 1.6 8v in my sammy on 32s . . . i took it off the old 1.3 and haven't even re jetted it (just fiddled with the settings a tad) ive had 90(on sat nav) out of it on the motorway down hill with the 1.6 . . . it did scare me tho . . . only because at 90 all the rattles stopped

they can flood going up hills but ive not had a problem yet

I used to have one when it was a 1.3 great for on road but I had nothing but trouble off road. Still got good money for it
