Hi All,
im new here and new to off roaders, so bare with please.
i brought a T Reg vitara with a mate of mine last week, ive just been looking around at parts and stuff and everything on ebay lists upto 1998 then skips to 2003. Is this right? if so what have i brought lol.

Welcome to the club.
They made the Vitara until 2000 I believe.
The late ones are badged 4u2.
After that it's the grand vitara.

If nobody has what you want I'm sure they can send you in the right direction.

I'm not 100% sure but off the top of my head I'd say that's a Vitara. With wind up windows too.

Yep i would say that's a vitara, might be worth checking the vin no. to see what year it was made. Might be that it sat around for a while before being registered.

Should be on a plate riveted/welded to the slam panel in the engine bay. Not certain for sure as my anus isn't here to look at, just going from experience. Vin no. Might not help, i saw another post about this sort of thing in the vitara tech section. I think rhinoman might be the man to ask.
