Sorry to bring up an oldies here, but.... my SJ is for on road use and a bit of green lanes, so I'm interested in softening up the suspension too. LIGHTNING - what did you opt from in the end, and did it work? Would the leaf spring Bedford rears / SJ back to front swap then benefit from softer shoc...

Bedford rascal rear springs and rear sj springs up front :thumbup: the problem with SJs is that the springs are too short to give a good ride, use longer springs at each end and you improve articulation and comfort :thumbup: will leave the e3000 alone Will have to look out for some Bedford rascal r...
