Re: Fixed hubs v Freewheel hubs
Very easy bolt off bolt on. Having driven with hubs locked and unlocked on the road I would certainly say there's a difference. It's minor but helps a smidge with fuel consumption and if you can get some for a decent price then its worth doing. The asin hubs have tappered washers that ideally need t...

Re: Painting chassis
Havent used raptor myself. Scottie has tho so may have an opinion. Used gravitex, seems okay but gets a bit messy. Gets coverage done nice and quick tho. Are you looking to brush paint? I've just been using my first pot of corroless all on one chassis paint, inhibitor primer and top coat with glass ...

Re: MOT fixes
Knuckles /swivels leaking will be the half shaft oil seal.
Seal dimensions are avalible on here under the axle info thread. It's fairly small and requires the hub and swivel housings to come off.
And easy enough job to do just mucky.
What's your tinkering level?

Re: Seeking info: NOS turbo kir for Jimny by SK Turbo
I an seriously thinking about fitting this kit, but the problem I have is that this is a legit vintage kit and I don't want to waste this gem to a POS. It should be something worthy or then I need to sell this to someone who can appreciate this. Less worring about the right car, more turbo noises. ...

Re: Andys dabble in disco land.
Hey Robbie, 300tdi. I've done new brakes and wheel bearings all round but that you for the offer. The great things with these are the price of parts is so cheap most little wear and tear items I just replace. Wheel bearings around £10 each, discs and pads 39 quid per axle. The shocks and springs wit...
