Yeah but last summer it ran so hot I had to remove the stat. And now the sodding auto choke won't go down. Sitting at traffic lights ticking over at 1600rpm lol.

Now as most of you know electrics are not my forte...but I have a suspicion my gauge isn't working properly. On a normal run the temp gets to half way and stays there but if I cane it it moves up to maybe 2/3rds of the way. As soon as I slow down or stop the needle goes back to the middle. Immediate...

Mine's got Procomp on her. I have two brand new ones if you need them. Is yours standard? If so Vauxhall Astra ones should fit.

Cheers Anton. Went to Tesco tonight and some bastard has driven into the back and done a runner. Just a dent but more work needed. One thing I do know is his/her car will be a lot worse off...

Thursday night Piglet was undriveable. Took the bus home (£4 to go 6 miles and took 90 minutes). Friday morning after another bus nightmare prop is off. UJ near the diff was beyond shagged.
