best thing you can do with them hubs is throw them in the bin they are rubbish better of getting some aisin ones or some vits have some fitted with ones that are basicly the same as the aisin ones but without the name on them Are these the same as those on SJ? aisin ones came fitted to some sj's &a...

some vits did come with a rubber arch but tbh i would not fit them they hold water & rot the body
you could fit defender arches fit quite well on vits

Where I kind've see where you are coming from Vitara mad I can also imagine holes having a sort of cheese grater effect on the mud so more mud might actually end up on top of it with the holes there?? i can see your point too but either way it will end up with alot of mud ontop if its used at sites...

looks like a good quality job you done
the only thing i would do differant is drill a few holes with a hole saw to help with build up of mud on top of the plate
