Great news for me i have just sold my beloved Volvo 850 T5-R. One of them awesome yellow ones. Went like the preverbiale off a stick. I'll miss her.
This doesn now mean i'll be spending loads on my sammy. I'll try n update it in the builds section and also on my website.
Whoo hoo!

Re: Buying sj413, viewed and now unsure.
Dents dings and rust arw normal on most SJs. It sounds like the starter motor solenoid. Any auto electrician can sort that. Or you can get a recon unit. He may have lost the docs. These can be applied for from DVLA but i would possibly do one of those mobile phone reg check things (bout £5) just to ...

Re: Roll cage steel
I was reading on http://www.rollcentre.co.uk and FIA spec cages are 45mm x 2.5mm. I've been quoted £18+VAT for 44mm x 3mm x 7.5m. I also reckon on two lengths so be about £50. Bargain. Just gotta get home and measure up.

Re: Roll cage steel
I'm gona ring round tomorro. Obviously i need long bits and i got a quote for 100mm box section of £65 for 7.5m. So i presume 2" tube will be cheaper as theres less steel to it. Im hoping 3 lengths will make a cage and tray back for it. when ive got some quotes i'll post prices and contact deta...

Roll cage steel
An associate of mine has agreed to lend me a hydraulic pipe bender to make my roll cage. Just wondering what steel would be best.
Thinking 2" with a 3mm wall CDS.
Your thoughts please.
Thanks
Jordi

Re: SU Carb - My Samurai won't run
Yup, read that one, read the DIY page on Suzuki Club, and i've been thru the shropshire forum too. Mine pretty much is identical to all of them minus the water jacket. Pipes to the same places, same bits blocked off. I havn't ran this SJ for years and bolted the SU on today - nothing. Swapped back t...

SU Carb - My Samurai won't run
Ok, so I haven't rebuilt the carb (but the car it came off was running when I removed it) Before doing anything with the carb I just want to get it running. The carb is off a maestro and i just want to see if it runs. I know most posts mention changing needles etc... giving it a good service gaskets...
