Re: Coiled turqoise samurai
Looks spot on. Really enjoyed seeing this build. Some excellent fabrication, way beyond my skill level, gone into this.

Re: Arrival of my first SJ410. Total rebuild
Ebay. Quite a few indian based sellers.
Reasonable prices, some of the parts are genuine maruti. Just takes a little longer on delivery.
Mike harris on the forum usually has a few spares kicking about.
Also steve green on the forum. Has breakers snd spares.
Both of those are reliable sellers.

99% sure that the metal bracket sticking out is the bottom back of the unit. Side with the holes in fixes to the bottom of the dash. On the front of it it will have a rectangular radio sized hole and a cigarette socket. A universal radio fitting kit should do, usually supplied when you buy a radio. ...

Re: Best bet for covering up deep scratches?
If your’re not too bothered about looks, sand it, some zinc primer and get a paint match done at a paint suppliers who will mix a rattle can in the right colour.
Due to fading and ageing it won’t match 100% but will give a reasonable finish and prevent rusting.

Yeah, they look like bog standard replacements.
Coming from India so possibly genuine maruti / suzuki.
Don’t be put off buying parts from indian suppliers. Marutis are still built there and parts are plentiful. Usually worth the wait, quite a few of us have ordered from India over the years.

Re: Need advice on the right lift kit and tire combo
YJs and 33s is a big move from standard. Whilst the suspension kits aren’t too badly priced to stay spring under you need to cut out wheel arches and bulkhead. Gearing needs lowering in the diffs and transfer box. Ideally a more powerful engine. Check out my build, Ferrris, ScottieJs or Dan2ks all o...
