Hi every one. Common question asked on here I know but I was wondering what's the easyest engine swap I can give my 1986 SJ410. I'm not looking for immense speed although a little more then it's got would be nice. I use it for driving round feilds for shooting, but tracking between permissions can b...

Re: Hi everyone for the newbie! Picking the new SJ up Sunday
I will know more by tomorrow or Sunday when I pick her up. Any points I should look for apart from the floors arches etc?
Iv had a good look through some of the tech on here and I have to say its all good stuff. Even better with pictures!

Re: Hi everyone for the newbie! Picking the new SJ up Sunday
A mate of mine does welding for a living so he's up for the challagne. As for the smaller bits how would you suggest I deal with it? Iv got myself plenty of red oxide kicking about (7leters of the stuff) but I'm sure there's more to it then slapping a bit of that on there.

Hi everyone for the newbie! Picking the new SJ up Sunday!
Hey guys just brought myself a nice (not so shiny) sj. This is my first one so I might need a bit of help as I have never worked on car before. My first question is, will a 970cc be be good good enough off road, until I have a chance to upgrade the engine?
Kind regards
Alex
