Re: OME Springs
llama 4x4 don't sell standard sj springs off the shelf but he can get standard height springs made but they will be of the same material and thickness as his 2" lift springs, so very bouncy and uncomfortable on the road. I was talking with him today as I snapped a rear spring on the way home fr...

Re: New engine woes
Doesn't the oil pick up pipe unbolt from the block? You need to get a oil pick up pipe for the new simp as it will/might be of a different design. I'm pretty sure the oil pick up pipe will unbolt easily as it does on any engine I've worked on. Sourcing a oil pick up pipe for your new sump may be mor...

Failing that, but another one I wouldn't take a chance on your brakes

Re: Su carb conversion complete
If it's the hole closest to the passenger side, I've seen loads of SJ heads with a longer bolt, and a nut on the inside (Get to it by taking the rocker cover off). Little bit bodgey, but saves messing around trying to get a welder down there etc. You can turn the dizzy by just taking the 12mm retai...
