I took the shaft out and placed on the bench then cut the back plate, Wont be using them again now. just working out the best way to put the brake pipes then it'll all be put together. Has anyone on here welded angle iron onto the axle then run the pipes through that? As thats what I was looking at ...

I'm also doing this on my new axle as my old one collapsed where someone had done some shocking welding :pissed: :pissed: But got a quick question. What's the best way of getting the drum brake casing off the shaft? I don't want to damage the bearings as they look new, but don't want to cut the casi...

Hi all. Just a quick Hi to introduce myself. New to this forum but a member of some other.
