I was going to do a crazy build with it but when i realised how amazingly mint everything was and all orgional i decided pretty quickly to do a restoration instead.
so bye bye mental suzuki/anus crazy build :(

Hi guys, just a quick update picked up my new 1981 LJ80 today, the engine is MINT its only done 6700 miles (which maybe why lol), one owner from new and used on a farm for taking little bits and pieces here and there. The body work is nowhere near mint but thats what i'm here for :D I will post more...

lol thats exactly what i was thinking actually, if i cut the shell straight through at the doors and add length there's less bodywork to keep in proportion and it will just look like it has slightly longer doors than other lj's

Thanks Scottie I had already had a look at the german site as i found it talked about on the forum before, but i do prefer a nice original metal shell to work with even if it is going to ruin a classic. I had assumed they would be more narrow but i think i can make it work, not too bad with welding ...
