Re: Dip switch location
If you have a replacement switch from a a LJ there is not much to break. They are fairly robust. A couple that I have played were full of dirt. Another fault I found has been the solder joints had broken. Worth a look inside but be careful when you take apart--- there is a small ball bearing in the ...

Re: Dip switch location
Yes indicators and dip switch. Couldn't get mine to work, checked the wiring which was fine. The problem was down to dust and dirt. The switch was full of it. Pulled it apart and needed a tooth pick to pry the muck out. Cleaned and back together and I was a happy chappie.

Used your picture Darrell and searched Google again. Found the right size from a UK company for a fair price and they will post to Cyprus. Thanks for your help.

Re: F8 F10 engine crank spigot bearing
Thanks Darrell, I had measured the crank hole and input shaft and was looking for a 10x 15x 15mm needle roller but nobody seemed to list that size. I then presumed i had measured something wrong. Looking at your pictures, did you go direct to a Suzuki parts dealer ?

F8 F10 engine crank spigot bearing
Hello, About to rebuild a F10 engine which has the spigot bearing in the crankshaft, not in the flywheel like the later engine do. Anybody know what size they are or where they can be purchased from. Any ideas ?

LJ 80 Carb
It does not seem to make a blind bit of difference when I try to adjust the mixture screw/ air screw. Doesn't rev, doesn't stall but runs rich. The Carb has had a long life but I would like to keep the LJ looking as near original as possible so want to stick to a LJ Carb. Any clues ( I have cleaned ...

LJ 80 Front springs
My LJ springs are worse than flat. Have seen some standard Samurai springs on Ebay Germany. Not looking to get any great lift, just want to remove the sick front end look. The question is ---- Will they fit?

Re: How many left in the UK?
Hello from sunny Cyprus, We have a few LJ on the island, I know of 6 on the road, 2 more getting rebuilt and back on the road fairly soon. There are others about the place, hidden in sheds and standing out in the fields but finding out who owns them and then buying at a fair price can be somewhat of...

Suzuki LJ80 Decals
I purchased some very good priced LJ80 Decals from a guy in Columbia and now wait their arrival. I should have studied the ebay pictures a bit more closely because looking again there are several mistakes. On the gear change decal in large letters it shows O F Road instead of OFF road. The best mist...
