Re: Vitara front Hub help

Also? Are there any differences in strength and off road ability between fixed and free wheel hubs?

Vitara front Hub help

Hey guys Having a issue with my front left hub on my 94 1.6 8v vitara. I'm looking at replacing the hub but I'm unsure what type I have.... Re: BigJimny meet - 2014

I'm going along to this as a bit of a shakedown test for the Vitara to see how effective my repairs have been and to figure out what I need to focus on next

If any of you are going, wouldn't mind someone having a bit of a nosey round the Vit to see if I've missed anything

Re: Vitara 1.6 8v running cool and over fuelling

Forgot to say, both top and rad hoses are now hot, so definite progress being made. Amazes me the variation of issues and symptoms a simple air lock can give

Re: Vitara 1.6 8v running cool and over fuelling

Agreed, they're deffo linked problems/symptoms. This evening I put some card infront of the rad to stop the viscous fan drawing as much air through the rad. With revs held at 2.5k rpm and a 2l bottle of coke with the base cut off,a bit of ptfe tape and placed in the rad, I was able to see the coolan...
