also, would i be able to run the 70amp alternator?

mine has the round plug with the ribbed belt. i think its 50 amp. i think the part number is LRB00125. these are about £135. do you know anywhere i can get it cheaper or a second hand one?

ok, does anyone know what amp the alternator should be 1.6 vit engine? 50 or 70?

i have a 413 sj, it has the 1.6 vitara. I need an alternator for it, is there a uprated one? where's the best place to get one from? its got the ribbed aux belt not the v belt

tuning the carb: am i right that clockwise is richer and anti clockwise is leaner?

just serviced the carb and put the yellow spring in with the BFM needle. the needle i took out was a BCE and the spring was thin and long. going to put it back on later

OK, thanks for the reply's guys. when i fill it its about £40 to fill so i would say its a standard tank. ill look into the needle and the spring in the carb. Am i right saying it should have a BFM needle and yellow spring? what's the best place to get a rebuild kit from?

hi, i have a sj with the vitara 8v SPI 1.6 engine in. it uses the su hif44 with facet pump fuel pump. I run 195/80 r15 special tracks at the moment. its got a winch bumper on the front. I'm just wondering how many miles people get to a tank of fuel? I get roughly 120 miles to a tank. is this bad?
