Re: Tyre sizes?

Probably right,
I remember using tubes on my old Corsa since tire was damaged beyond repair. But it was just for couple days... Dont like the idea anyway its just additional weight plus have to cut out existing valves. I will ask tire guy also about this, he should know.

Re: Tyre sizes?

My car is daily so this combination is for regular use. Tubes are legal in my country, do You think it will help to keep tire on rim in potentially more extreme situations as You described?

Re: Tyre sizes?

To give it a go will be best option but dont have tires yet.
This question is to help me decide, thought maybe someone here have this tire setup.
My current setup is 195/70/15 on 5.5J stock.

Re: Tyre sizes?

Tire to rim standard is clear, no doubts about that... but i have one simple question. Anyone fitted 205-70-15 to 8 inch rim. Do I need to install inner tube or without it, will it work at all..? I am assuming it could work because of high profile of tire itself, it should not stretch too much. Besi...

Re: Mikes kja hybrid challenge truck updated 27/08/2015

It has a fully floating back axle, which uses front hubs on the rear. I put free wheeling hubs on so if I break anything I can switch the axle of and be recovered without doing further damage to components. But yeh could drive it in front wheel drive, one wheel drive or select any given wheel to dr...

Re: Mikes kja hybrid challenge truck updated 27/08/2015

Whats up with rear locking hubs? Probably stupid question but I was thinking many times it would be great to have locking hubs on rear so you can unlock it and drive with front wheels only when needed. Anyone ever try that?
I know that rear driveshaft disconnect device exists, just wandering..?

1997 Coily

Hi to all! First of all maybe I put this topic on wrong thread - for moderators feel free to move it where it belong. I heard about coil spring version of Samurai produced in Japan. I was rather surprised when came across one here in my country, didn't think that these versions ever came near Europe...

Re: Santana seeking solution!

Now I can tell that (most) vibrations gone, still got rattle and shift slack but after this I am pretty sure that it is rear diff need to be adjusted. I feel comfortable to drive it now this is most important will figure out diff solution down the road.
