Checked this topic for the 50th time to see the pics.

I peeled the area where there should be the key hole. From my research I think the original ones have no key hole. I was relief to find that it was not filled with hard metal.

Finally the doors where delivered today .after 11 weeks waiting. I was anxious to see if they where the real ones . Luckily they are.

They are introducing a weekend and bank holiday road tax so newly imported cars are cheaper to run... registering my samurai here for normal use would cost just over €1000/year in road tax So I imagine you are right!
