I read in a post about using merc steering component in order to lift the steering over the spring. What merc is this from? G waggon?

If I lower the transfer box will I still need to lengthen the prop shafts?

Well, I am having a go at soa as it looks simple enough. I have done all the grinding and welding and now just have to bolt it all back together. Would it help to lower the transfer box? Some one told me that u can turn my wheels around to give me a wider foot print. I would need to dish out the hol...

I know this shows my novice credentials but,......can I stick my axle under the spring? Would this be a useful mod?

Thanks to everyone who posted a reply. I am going to chop up the cross member and create something ugly. I would appreciate and pics of the custom mounts or any ideas about how haw forward the engine should sit.

Hi Folks I am putting a Pug DT and LDV box into my SJ. I have things in position but I am not sure what to do with the LDV cross member.
