Re: Headlight fuse or relay?
It's a secret they aren't obliged to tell you anything. Failed the noise test so they want a new complete exhaust system.when I asked if it was a silencer that needed replacing he just walked away. 4000 revs indoors will always be noisy but on the road rarely gets over 2.5...Functionaries here take ...

Re: Headlight fuse or relay?
Yep here if it's fitted they test it. Although oddly enough they didn't test the rear window washer which although the wiper works the end that goes through the glass has perished and the plastic tube would have sprayed water everywhere except for where it should have. BTW has anyone removed a tow b...

The relay fitted at the top within the housing. First MOT fail on exhaust so I need to find if there is a difference from my JHT t...

Re: Renewing Gear Box Fluid
That post was the diffs, this is the gear box. I read somewhere that if you overfill the gear box it can cause foaming, but the post I read wasn't Samurai specific.

Re: Renewing Gear Box Fluid
Did it along with the coolant,I'm in a mountainous area,so hard to find flat ground so I overfilled it by quite a lot, until I found a flatish area near a neighbours driveway.let it run out of the 12mm level plug until it was just dripping. Can much damage be done by over filling?

Re: Draining Coolant
I finally got around to doing it a week ago, filled it with the heater running, let it rest then took it for a run afterwards the level needed topping up a bit.Drove it this morning and put the fan on to blow some fresh air,but even with the lever on cold the air was warm.Got stuck in traffic and the ...

Re: OAT What does it mean
Here they just sell a 5 litre container of organic coolant, doesn't mention percentages of distilled water to add.As I'm in Spain near the coast it's only the coolant properties that interest me.
