Thank you very much! You have been very helpful, I really appreciate the picture and advice. I'll have a look at it when I'm home and block the vent and see off the vacuum advance is vacuuming at idle. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks mate, looked today and there is an oil leak from my t box to the drive shaft which is abit worrying. It looks pretty clean but I'll have to get that sorted Asap!

If you take the airbox off, you should be able to see right down the carb. Then rev it up when looking down at the two butterflies - if one doesn't open up, then you've got the (very common) standard problem with the Aisin carb. Thanks she's going to be my project for a couple of years. There quite hard to find at the moment as well I swear there all being broken for parts!
