Re: 06 grand vitara 1.9ddis

Sounds like the immobiliser in your key may be dying, or the immobiliser reader (or the immobiliser itself). Could also be the ECU.

Does it happen with your spare key, or just your main key?

Re: Tyre Kicker

:welcome2:

I don't know much about LJ's, I've never even driven one. SJ steering can feel a tiny bit heavy even with standard tyres as it has no power steering. Big tyres and it gets real heavy. Maybe LJ's are the same. Don't know anything about LJ clutches, pedals etc, sorry!

Re: Renewing Gear Box Fluid

Yeah, it *can* - but it's no big deal. Keep in mind, oil is there to lubricate. As long as there is a thin film of oil on everything inside the gearbox, everything will be fine. Too little oil, and some parts can end up running dry - and therefore wearing out far too fast. Too much oil sometimes res...

Re: Renewing Gear Box Fluid

Yes, you've ruined everything - you're better off just giving me the Zuk. :brows: Overfilling an engine can lock it up (hydraulic it) by forcing oil past the rings and into the combustion chamber - very possibly killing it. Or causing a "runaway" if it's a diesel. Overfilling a gearbox can reduce po...
