Yeah it's age related, the wire simply snapped in two at the block connector.

I managed to source one from a dealer so all good.

Darrell, Thank you for your help! Turned out to be the fuse link, the cable had snapped. I managed to press it together to get enough contact to start it.

Does anyone know where you can buy new ones from?

Am I right in saying I should still be able to jump start it to get it running??
