scottie, Thanks for your advice 're brake discs have ordered a pair listed for 413 £20 cheaper than items listed for 410.(I am fitting SJ discs to 1928 Morris axle). joined engine & gearbox with adaptor plate following instructions on this forum.
craned in place, levelled with spirit level on inlet manifold.
Placed on wooden blocks, fabricated & welded mounts.

Are 410 & 413 discs the same?

gents,
Are 410 and 413 discs the same?
Some suppliers list one part as fitting both, others list them separately, with 410 being more expensive.
I am fitting them to a Japan built 1985 SJ410.

Front axle fitted

Fitted front axle from a 1928 Morris Oxford.
I bought the pair of Sankey wheels from ebay, when I went to collect them the axle was on the shed roof!

Anton, as you suggest, with a modified chassis it would not be legal to use the Suzuki identity.
I will register chitty as a special, on a Q plate.
I put my previous project through the SVA registration process a couple of years ago without a problem.
