Does this include having the hubs in the "lock" position? I noticed when I brought my SJ home that she had been driven with one of the hubs in "lock" and one in "free" for God knows how long. I changed the oil on the diff and it doesn't seem like it has taken any damag...

From memory, a 75/90 viscosity gear oil is specified in the Vitara rather than straight grade.

It is quite possible that the brakes are lighter than that with which you are familiar. If not then get a specialist to check the braking system out before you have an accident!
