I accquired a 1986 SJ410 back in June and have been plodding my way through a rebuild - keeping me sane during lock down etc. Its actually been great fun and while the bill have accumulated its has got to bad yet, although in hind sight I could've bought a truck in a lot better shape for the (total)...

This is driving me nuts, I have a copy of both the book of lies from Haynes and Suzuki. I'm trying to get the rear drums off the axle to service the brakes etc. The axle is on the bench not the veh (its a spare replacement - long story - don't ask for now). TBH, you are probably going to use a real load of shot trying to get rid of the rust like that, so unless you have access to a large, free supply of shot, you'd be far quicker and save a lot of cash if you use a twisted wire brush on a an angle grinder. Just use the mini blaster for area's that the ...
