Re: Grand Vitara '06 looking for a forever home.
It hurts to be letting her go but my partner and I are determined not to sell Beast to somebody who is just going to break her up, she deserves a forever home and I wish we could keep her. I don't know where else to try :(

Code 670 & 243
I was having problems with The Beast, my '06 Grand Vitara, 670 & 243 codes kept coming up, we changed various parts, checked for exhaust leaks etc. Turns out it could have been the hose to the turbo that was the problem. After everything Beast is now grounded, everything is ticking fine, it has ...

Lower Filler pipe and Curious Blower Issue
Hi, I wondered if anybody else has had issues with the rubber lower filler pipe on the 2006 Grand Vitara. I can only put 15ltres into the tank or she starts dropping diesel, I work at a college and because I thought it may be a crack in the tank I got the motor vehicles workshop to put it up on thei...

Re: Keyworker needing urgent advice
I do 40-50 miles a day on the motorway, I had the DPF cleaned today and The Beast sounds great, 15mins into the journey home the same faults crop up. I m guessing it might be the Wastegate Actuator or a faulty sensory.

Keyworker needing urgent advice
Hi, I had my Grand Vitara 06 diesel engine rebuilt but I have a problem that nobody seems to know the definitive answer on how to solve. I spoke to the nearest Suzuki dealer in Ashton-Under-Lyne (24miles away) who told me they could take The Beast for a couple of hours but they probably wouldn't be ...

Hello - Grand Vitara Owner
Hi All, I'm the proud driver of an 06 Grand Vitara called 'The Beast', we love the car although she often drives us to distraction with the little niggles and faults that she develops. We just had an engine rebuild after a cowboy service didn't check the belts and it wrecked the engine. We could hav...
