Welcome to the forum fella,, i think theres a supplyier in germany that does sj panals, or is it grease. Im sure if you google it, it comes up. But im sure your local fabrication shops will fold you...

what your going to try to do is,, keep the heat/weld on the box section and just flow it up the the body panal. you may have to do stich welding,, 1" miss a inch. make sure you grid down the old panals you are welding to,, you cant weld to rust/paint etc.. good luck

Yep, as you said, front windscreen has to be of aproval with the correct stamp. (mobile winscreens made me two windscreeens for my 62 split window camper, but they then ecthed the correct stamp into the glass). Side and rear i used tinted 3mm perspex. ohhh,, this topic opened a real can of worms on differs???. There is a large question mark over insurance, let alone the fact if there not done right, its downright dangrouse. If your using the truck for just off road, i cant see a proplem, (so long as there done right by a certified /compodant weld...

have a look in the DIY section for,,, rock sliders. gives you a good ideal what im onabout. once there welded in you have a good basis to start from..

i would start by replacing the outer sill with box section,then you have something to weld to. you can get sheets of steel to suit,, if need-be you can also run some bracing under the new floor.
