Yeah I never understand when people say this. Theres very little difference between driving a few hundred miles spread over a week commuting or doing it a at once.
Arguably things are more likely to fail when cold or having sat so a good run with everything warm and free is better.

As above the bumper mount has been cut down. Very common when removing the bumper and fitting larger tyres.

I would imagine the Webber would fit the g16 manifold. They are slightly larger than the g13. No idea on clearing the bonnet as I'm not too familiar with the sizing of the Webber compared to an SU.
