Re: the no dosh LJ revamp

Haha nice. I think it looks cool without the doors on. Also I love your wheels, do you know where you got them from?

Re: Changing a wheel stud with the hub on, any suggestions?

What about cooling the stud down in the freezer and then heating the hub a little. The stud should shrink a little and the hub should expand a little, if I'm correct it should make it easier whilst using some of the methods above.

How about using a G clamp to press it in. It'd mean you wouldn't have to take it off.
Or put a nut on the threaded side and do I up so it pull the stud in to place.

Early style sj410 brake caliper rebuild kit?

Evening all, I want to rebuild my calipers on my early B reg sj410 but can't find a seal kit for them, i only need the seals as the pistons are very good with no pitting what so ever. The pistons are 51mm, i had to measure it with a ruler as i couldn't find my vernier caliper so not sure if it is 10...

Re: prop lengths?

Sorted the problem. Just bought a full set of fat props and a transfer box to go with them. Should be here by next week hopefully!

Re: prop lengths?

I'm not sure as I bought it from a guy last year who was breaking his sj. I think he said it was a B reg which makes it 1984?
